Reams in Magna is delivering a playful and delicious hotdog doughnut. Trust me people, its delicious. They also have a hamburger doughnut. The patty is an apple fritter.... Cue the drool...

At first glance, it looks like it would be a sugar overload and give you instant diabetes. Oddly enough, its a great balance of savory fry bread and sweet lemon custard, raspberry jam, and a vanilla frosting to resemble the mustard. Its quit a battle between your brain (reason) and heart (love for food).

Question is, does it matter more for the food to be visually/mentally appealing, or does taste rain supreme? I guess it depends how daring you are. If your visual/mental sense won't let you take a bite, then i guess appearances rain supreme. On the other hand, one simple taste can change your perception in just seconds and last a lifetime. Either way, the moral of the story is, be daring and try frosting that looks like mustard. It may surprise you.
Who would have thought, Reams in Magna, Utah churning out a hotdog doughnut. 10 points for originality and 8 points for taste. It's worth a stop.
